Exploring The Town

After a leisurely morning we decided to get a little exercise (in the middle of the day, during Siesta!!) and walk into Lloret so I could show Q. around my old haunts...... well, it didnt quite work out like that because their were only a couple of places I recognized! Most of the stores had become junkie stores filled with what I can only describe as "tourista crap". It also didn help that it was during Siesta and most of the good stores were closed (we found this out later).
Our plan for the day was to have an "early" dinner because of our late night last night..... so at 9PM (!!!!!) Ted, Q and I headed out to a place that (apparently) did great chicken where we met up with Carol, a friend I used to work with back in the 70,s and who still worked for Ted (35 years later). Nice catching up, good stories, but the chicken left a lot to be desired (at least for Q and I!). We then ran into some other old friends of mine from back in the day so it was a great catching up with them too.....
Ted, Q and I went back to Carmens, the bar we were at last night where Carlos joined us..... Carlos is an amazingly good funny story teller and many laughing hours later (3AM this time) we arrived back at the villa.
Well, guess what? Another good, another late (!) day!!
