Day One At Our Villa

We wish it was ours!

Ted had business today so we had a Day of Recuperation after a long day of travel, we just partook of all the spa amenities.... steamed, swam, jacuzzieed, ate breakfast, that Ted had prepared for us, sat on the patio gazing out at the ocean, read, swam again in the other pool..... Q and I made friends with Ted´s dog Fabio- a very sharp looking and very smart German Shepherd. Q couldn´t give him any rub rubs though cos he´s extremely hairy and shedding so S took that duty on and fast became friends with Fabio who is getting a girlfriend on Monday (the girlfriend is currently being trained, and her name is Neenya).
More swimming later and Ted arrived home so we opened another bottle of Rose before getting ready for our planned dinner out int own at 9PM..... this was very early to them, and we found it extremely funny. We went into town and met Ted´s youngest son, Carlos, a great young man - very charasmatic and a wonderful conversationalist! While we all ate Paella, and drank more Rose, Carlos regaled us with stories of when he met his girlfriend (who lives in San Diego...one heck of a long distance relationship!!) four years ago in Vegas..... it was a great story and entertained us all though dessert.
After dinner, the four of us went to a upscale bar at the beach where apparently the best gin and tonics were served...... Q and I, of course, had to try a few of them.... we did have a problem getting Lime into the drink because they wanted to give us lemon all the time.... We met Ted´s older son, Teddy, very briefly and spent the rest of the night conversing, story telling, and people watching..... We did lose track of time a little, and at 4AM we closed down the bar!
Q and I proceeded to Skype Jeff when we got home sinse it was 7ish US time. He was super pleased to hear from us, but a little shocked at the fact that it was (now) nearly 5AM and we were still up!!!
As we write this we are both shaking our heads and laughing because we really can´t believe we stayed up soooo late.
